ABOUT THE ARTIST

Through multimedia work spanning acrylic painting, graphic design, and video and sound art, this emerging artist interrogates the central question: "How do queer people of color navigate social conformity?" [read more] The artist's work explores the fundamental nature of personhood at the intersection of race, gender, sexuality, and societal expectations, creating bridges between marginalized and mainstream audiences without segregating "identity art" into its own category.

Through various mediums, the work transforms personal experience into universal dialogue while challenging political narratives by humanizing personal experiences. This artistic practice positions intimate moments and personal histories as windows into universal themes, developing a strong presence across traditional and digital platforms while documenting and preserving QPOC experiences and histories. By placing marginalized narratives within mainstream art spaces alongside diverse stories, this practice contributes to contemporary dialogues about identity while creating visibility for voices that have historically been excluded from these conversations.
